Children ages 8 to 17 are welcome to come in for a 2 hour class to make a Frog Bowl on June 27th, 2026 at The Imprompt in Cornell. 100 S 1st St. Starting at 1 PM until 3 PM we will work with the students on basic ceramic techniques to construct a frog or animal bowl of their choosing. They will spend time designing, constructing, and cleaning up their bowl. Once complete, the bowls will dry for a few days and be bisque fired. Once fired, they can schedule a time with staff to come in and glaze their bowl the following week or at a time of their choosing. Once the bowl is glazed, we will fire it in the kiln one more time and your piece will be ready to pick up within 2 weeks.

You will spend time designing, constructing, and cleaning up your planter. Once complete, the planters will dry for a few days and be bisque fired. Adults ages 18 and up are welcome to come in for a 2 part - 2 hour class to make a Moth Mug on August 22nd, 2026 at The Imprompt in Cornell. 100 S 1st St. Starting at 3 PM until 5 PM we will work with the students on basic ceramic techniques to construct a Moth Mug and return after 2 week on September 5th to learn painting techniques to really make it your own. You will spend time designing, constructing, and cleaning up your moth Mug. Once complete, the mugs will dry for a few days and be bisque fired. On September 5th you will come in and glaze your mug with instruction, or at another time of your choosing w/out instruction. Once the mug is glazed, we will fire it in the kiln one more time and your piece will be ready to pick up within 2 weeks.

Every 3rd Saturday, September through April, we will host an free Acoustic Jam from 6pm to 9pm featuring bluegrass, country, and folk style music.

This is a live music event with an open mic throughout the night. Members of the house band can fill in and play with you, or you can play alone, or with your friends.

We will have snacks, beverages, and enough seating, but it doesn't hurt to bring a lawn chair just in case!

Come play, sing, or listen! We are ready to have a great time jamming!
